Hello and welcome to my new blog at nutritionjunkie.ca. I am a holistic nutritionist, addictions counsellor and foodophile. I live to eat and I love to cook. Fortunately for me, I take pleasure in healthy eating and a balanced lifestyle. My philosophy is the old adage ‘everything in moderation’ … this, for me is the key to wellness: mentally, physically and spiritually. I don’t believe in eliminating entire food groups (unless there are intolerances/allergies). I do, however assume that many people would benefit from proper supplementation, depending on personal living standards. And let’s not forget, physical fitness is a MUST, it is an essential part of the equation!
I created this blog to inform, educate, explore and at times entertain. I will post recipes, share new food discoveries, discuss new health trends and explore the (too) many available supplements on the market (both good and bad). My wish for this blog is to inspire readers to be passionate about food and life, and ultimately to seek balance and stability. I love to eat fresh and nourishing foods MOST of the time, but I also love pasta, chocolate, and wine from time to time (sometimes often!!). Its all about finding the rhythm that works for you and your way of life.
